Our Story
BedHug Beginnings...
It all started with a 17 year old Shih Tzu nam
ed, Angel.
Like many small pets, Angel loved to burrow and snuggle up underneath the sheets on our bed. Getting cozy under a blanket was her all-time favorite! However, as she developed arthritis, she was no longer able to jump onto our bed or burrow. Her vision had also diminished, leaving her feeling insecure. It broke my heart to see her struggling.
This is what lead to the creation of BedHug Burrow Blankets.
Angel loved it! For her, BedHug created a super cozy and snug environment where she felt safe and comfortable. Having the BedHug blanket create a hood over her bed allowed her to relax without getting startled. Her joy and appreciation for BedHug brought tears to my eyes. She never wanted to sleep anywhere else. Next thing we knew, our other pets loved it too. It turned out to be a big hit in our home.
At BedHug, we are dedicated to providing a line of pet products that give back to animals. A portion of profits go to animal rescue organizations as well as the fight against animal cruelty.
